Fallon Sherrock famously became the first woman to win a match at the BDO World Championships in 2019, when she beat Ted Evetts in the first round and Mensur Suljović in the second (before losing to Chris Dobey in the third). According to Wikipedia this was when she gained the nickname 'Queen of the Palace' (the event was held at Alexandra Palace).
